Took Ethan to his 1 year well child check yesterday. I was so anxious to see how much he gained and how tall he was. But not very excited about the shots because he always gets a fever with them.

Weight: 19 lbs 8 oz

Height: 31 inches

Head Circ: 18 1/2 inches

His weight was 18 lbs 9 oz and in the 25th percentile last visit and this visit he is in the 5th - 10th percentile. Dr. Schuler wasn’t too worried about it at this time, since he is up and walking and moving everywhere. She said this tends to happen. So I won’t worry to much. He is healthy and looks fine. As far as height he only gained an inch. But I think he is still tall…LOL

She was very impressed with his vocabulary, which consists of….

Mama, Dada, Go, Doggie, Uh Oh, and All Done.

He started walking at 10 months…so he was getting around the room very well. He was so cute he kept dropping this little card I gave him and he kept saying uh oh, everytime he dropped it. And it isn’t just uh oh…..it’s UH…….Ohhhhhhhhhh. So dramatic.

He still only has 2 teeth. I think the tooth fairy forgot to deliver his teeth. HAHAHA!

Although his gums on the top are buldging, so it looks like the could come thru at any point. They have been like that for 3 weeks now…so I am not geting my hopes up.

I just still can’t picture him with teeth.

Today was Ethan’s 1st birthday party! Everything went very well. Here are a few pictures of how things went. I just LOVE the cake. I had it made by someone in town….her company is called It’s a Piece of Cake. She did an awesome job. Plus made a little cake for Ethan.

He did really great opening his presents. He didn’t get a nap earlier so he was a bit cranky toward the end. But I think he did very well.
He got alot of wonderful toys….Thank you to all that came and shared this special time with us.

We had a little party of our own tonight for Ethan’s birthday. He will have his party on the 25th with everyone else. But I wanted to do something today because TODAY is his birthday. So I made some cupcakes. He really seemed to just like to play with it. I gave him a few tastes of it but he really wasn’t intrested. Now the toy on the other hand he loved. He liked the box and wrapping paper too.

All in all I can’t believe he is ONE already!!! Time flies so fast.

I love you Ethan….You have changed our whole world.

And wouldn’t have missed it for the world.

He birthday is on the 20th of november….so we are having the party on the 25th. I can’t wait.

We are all moved into our new house. Although we still have a few things left at the old house. But the majority of it is here. Thank goodness. Now I just need to get things straightened around for Ethan’s 1st birthday party on the 25th. Oh that is going to be a task. But I have to do it.

Well today is actually my birthday…..guess how old I am????? 30 …… can you believe it??? LOL My mom took me out yesterday for dinner….red Lobster…..Oh I love the Parrot Bay Jumbo Coconut Shrimp…..Yummy Yummy. Then Josh, Ethan and I went to Applebee’s today for my birthday. They have those little desserts in the extra large shot glasses…..those are just the right size. We had a great time.

Before we went to Applebee’s we went and got Ethan’s 1st hair cut. Oh he did so well. I was really surprised too. I thought he would be screaming and trying to get out of the seat. Josh sat down first and then Ethan in his lap. That worked really well. Because of course I had to take pictures. He looks so cute with a big boy hair cut.

These two are so cute. I had fun working with them. I can’t wait to meet there little guy!

YES we are moving in!!! We can’t wait. We got the keys last night and went in and just looked around. Of course there was no where to sit….so we plopped on the floor and talked about where we would put things and so forth. It was fun….we can’t wait to get all of our things in there. I will take pictures to show once we are all moved in.

As most of you know….We have bought a new house. We are very excited. We will be moving this weekend.

I wanted to let you know that there could be a small delay for orders. Due to my computer being unplugged, moved, and getting plugged back in. I would say the delay at the most would be 3-5 days. I will try to get orders in before I move though. I doubt this will affect anyone…but I just wanted you all to be aware.

This week is really busy…sorry for delay in emails. I promise to get back to you as soon as I can. Saturday is the day we are moving most everything…so like I said I will definately try to get the orders in that I have recieved. Thanks for your patience.
