Spread the News…..Tomorrow is the day!!!

Tomorrow is the day to start sending your photos in. I can’t wait to see how this goes. I have never done this before, so I will try and make it as smooth as possible. Tell anyone and everyone about the contest. Remember it is a one recent photo of your child 0-24 months of age.
Not a professional one….just a snapshot.
The deadline to get me a photo is August 15th. I will then put them on a poll so you can start voting. I will be on vacation from the 19th thru the 26th. I will start the voting when I return. I will have it on my blog so everyone can vote. You can only vote one time per computer so you have to get everyone you know and possibly don’t know LOL to vote for you baby.

If you have recieved a postcard or brochure from Photography by Jaime, please call and schedule a session if you would like to use it. You will not be able to use them after Sept 1st. So please call or email me I would love to photograph your children and family.

Climbing the Stairs…

Ethan decided he was going to try and go for the stairs….well he made it. He can now go up the stairs….kind of scary. So we keep the door closed to the upstairs so he can’t go there by himself.
He also started taking a sippy cup today. I was soooo excited because I kept trying and trying to give it to him and he wanted nothing to do with it. Finally today he actually tried it. WHOOOHOOO!!!
He has only ventured a few steps holding onto furniture. I don’t think he realizes that he can actually do it. I think crawling there is faster. So we will see if he attempts it again.

Beach, Sun, and Sand….

Today we went to Holland State Park. I wanted to get some pictures of Ethan at the beach. He really didn’t care for the sand. He was alright with it at first but after feeling it he did NOT like it. But I was able to get a few shots in. It was really HOT out there…87 degrees. We took a walk all over the beach…well not in the sand because he was in his stroller….but he loved looking at everything. I was also able to get some of Josh and Ethan together. I am excited because they turned out really well. It was so bright out I wasn’t sure what they were going to look like. I am happy with them. Plus I don’t have many with Josh and him. We had a fun day.

I am holding a “Baby Face” model contest during the month of August. To enter, you need to email me a recent picture of your little one (ages 0-24 months), along with their birthdate, your name, address, and a phone number to contact you if you are the winner.
Official rules are as follows:
- Entries will be accepted August 1 - 15
- Submitted photographs must be snapshots, NOT professional images
- Only one photograph per entry, please
- Accepting new and old client entries

Finding new ways to play with…..

his exesaucer. He thought he was hot stuff crawling all thru it. It was so funny. He really couldn’t sit up under there….his head kept hitting the top. I was trying to change his diaper and this is what he decided he wanted to do. So I just let him. So silly.


Ethan has been adventuring and pulling himself up on everything. He does really well. Except when he falls and hits his head. He has his first bruise on his forehead. And what do you know he keeps hitting it in the same spot over and over. He has a hard head. We have only had a few time where he really just down right cries because it really hurts.

He pulled himself up the first stair and tried to get to the second one but his legs are way to short for that. It was funny to see him really try.

He still has NO teeth. I keep wondering when they will come. We have tried some foods that are harder then baby food, such as cheese, puffs, bread, and fruit. He seems to like them.

I captured some great expressions of Ethan today….He is such a character. Most of the time he had his hand in his mouth. He is so busy and doesn’t want to sit still so I’ll take what I can get.
